What if it all started with a new smile?
Discover Invisalign and the technology behind clear aligners: for elegance even during treatment.
What is “Invisalign” treatment? It’s an orthodontic treatment which uses transparent dental trays made by the brand Invisalign. It involves wearing a series of clear and removable aligners for a few weeks or months in order to realign the teeth gently and smoothly.
This transparent and aesthetically discreet system isn’t limited to simple treatment plans; it can also be used for more complex corrections. A few months of treatment with clear aligners can be enough if only small corrections to improve the appearance of the teeth are needed, but it may take one or two years for more complex cases. But don’t worry. Thanks to modern 3D-imaging technology, you’ll understand your treatment plan from the outset, with an overview from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position.
Why invest in your smile?
A smile inspires confidence in both the person smiling and the person who sees it. It helps us communicate and makes life beautiful! We smile to share positive emotions; hiding that smile just isn’t right. Even though they may have healthy teeth, many people feel ashamed of their appearance and thus shy away from sharing their full smile. Thanks to Invisalign clear aligners, there’s no excuse for not being able to enjoy a beautiful smile: no braces, just an elegant invisible tray.
We will find the best solution to give you the smile you deserve!
Invisalign® treatment is available in all Adent dental clinics.

What is Invisalign?
The Invisalign system is an almost invisible device which helps to align your teeth. Thanks to advanced 3D computer technology, Invisalign allows you to visualise the whole of your treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position, as prescribed by your Invisalign practitioner. Next, a series of clear aligners will be custom made for your teeth, allowing them to be adjusted little by little.
Each aligner must be worn for roughly two weeks before replacing it with the next one in the series, until your teeth have progressively reached the final prescribed position. The duration of treatment will depend on your specific needs and must be decided by your Invisalign practitioner.
Invisalign aligners are orthodontic devices which are made to measure by Align Technology Inc.
What are the advantages of Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners are almost invisible and most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.
Moreover, Invisalign aligners are removable so you can eat and drink whatever you want during treatment by simply removing them. You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss your teeth as you normally would and maintain good oral hygiene.
In contrast to traditional fixed braces, Invisalign doesn’t use any brackets or metal wire. This means that you spend less time at appointments making adjustments with your Invisalign practitioner.
Finally, the Invisalign system allows you to see a virtual image of your results and your treatment plan before you even get started, so that you can see what your teeth will look like once treatment is completed.
Is this method to align teeth new?
Dentists and orthodontists have been successfully using removable devices for years. However, thanks to the 3D technology from Align Technology and custom manufacturing on a large scale, the Invisalign system can be used to treat a large number of patients who wish to align their teeth. ClinCheck® software allows patients to visualise their treatment plan from start to finish, before it’s even begun.
How old is the company?
Align Technology Inc., the company that makes Invisalign, was founded in 1997.
How long does treatment take?
The duration depends on the complexity of the treatment and is largely comparable to the time it takes with traditional braces. Your Invisalign practitioner will give you more information during your initial consultation.
How long has this technology existed?
In 1947, Dr H. D. Kiesling predicted that one day technology would allow for the use of a series of aligners to produce the movements required for optimal orthodontic treatment. Now, thanks to cutting-edge computer technology, Align Technology has produced Invisalign®, a series of custom-made clear aligners. The patient must wear each aligner, one after the other, to progressively move the teeth in both the upper and lower arches.
How many patients have been treated with Invisalign?
More than 8 million patients worldwide have already been treated with Invisalign. The number of Invisalign smiles keeps growing every day.

How much does Invisalign cost?
As is the case for other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your dental alignment and your treatment plan. Only our practitioners can precisely determine the cost.
How can I start treatment?
Just make an appointment with one of our practitioners for an initial consultation.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign aligners move the teeth thanks to a series of precisely managed movements. In contrast to traditional braces, Invisalign not only controls the movement made by each aligner but also the speed. At every stage, only some teeth are able to move, in accordance with the Invisalign treatment plan for this particular stage. This allows for an effective use of force.
Is Invisalign treatment painful?
You may feel some temporary discomfort for a few days when using new aligners, at the beginning of each new treatment stage. Patients generally describe it as a feeling of pressure, which is completely normal. This means that the aligners are working properly and this sensation generally disappears after a few days.
What are the aligners made of and what do they look like?
Clear aligners are made of a highly resistant, medical-grade thermoplastic material, designed specifically for the Invisalign system. They are made to measure for you and adjust perfectly to your teeth.
Can I consult any dentist or orthodontist to start Invisalign treatment?
Although the Invisalign system can be used by all dental practitioners, it requires specific training.
