The Centre Dentaire de Saint-François was created in 2007 by Dr Philippe Germanier, dentist, former Head of Clinic and current instructor at the University of Zurich. It is located on Place Saint-François, in the heart of Lausanne, close to public transport. Our dentists and dental hygienists welcome you from Monday to Friday with the guarantee of a personalised and high-quality service. Special care is taken to ensure your comfort and painless dental treatments.

Our team of dentists and hygienists responds to all your requests with an innovative and unique approach to ‘Dental Coaching’, in a spirit of ‘Smart Dentistry’. It is a comprehensive, functional and aesthetic approach focused resolutely on the patient’s health and well-being.

Adults and children, the whole family is welcome in our dental centre, member of the Adent Group. Resolutely artistic and technological, you will be bathed in a relaxing universe. In particular, we offer the use of nitrous oxide (also known as laughing gas) for children or adults who have a phobia of dentists. This conscious sedation technique reduces anxiety.

We also have various lasers such as Lite Touch, CO2, Wiser and Med-701 to treat all dental pathologies. The use of lasers does not involve the use of nitrous oxide, sterilises and offers high precision for painless and minimally invasive dental treatments. To complete our technological range, we offer a computerised 3D radiology system that meets today’s needs in terms of modern and quality imaging. We follow the ‘ALARA’ principle, according to which exposure to X-rays should be ‘As Low As Reasonably Achievable’ (ALARA). Finally, we use the 3Shape Trios system for digital imprints without pastes or casting.

Our dental hygienists use the GBT® technique (Guided Biofilm Therapy from EMS Dental, a Swiss company based in Nyon) for gentle biofilm removal, without curettes or ultrasound. A brand new concept developed by Dr Philippe Germanier, which combines the GBT® technique with the use of laser, can effectively prevent and treat gum problems around natural teeth and dental implants. Regular cleaning maintains healthy teeth and gums. Our team of dentists will meet your aesthetic and comfort requirements and will also take care of root canal treatments, wisdom tooth extractions or dental implant placement.
