Orthodontic treatments
Our orthodontic dentists offer orthodontic treatment for children. Although orthodontic treatment can be undertaken at any age, most parents want to see their children treated early. Depending on the type of treatment required, an initial interception phase can be carried out by orthodontists as early as 4 years of age.
Various orthodontic treatments are available at Adent dental clinics, which can be adapted to every oral situation. For more information, please visit our article on orthodontics for children!
In addition to this dental care, our qualified dental hygienists use educational methods to explain to them the correct gestures to adopt to maintain their teeth and gums in good health. Our dental prevention specialists help them to get the right reflexes from the first teeth.

No matter how small, every tooth must be cleaned every day. As soon as food is ingested, a biofilm forms on the surface of the tooth enamel. This biofilm evolves if it is not regularly cleaned. The evolution results in soft, white deposits on the surface of the teeth, called plaque. Plaque is composed of bacteria, among other things. Bacteria can cause cavities if not cleaned. Plaque can also develop into tartar, a hard white deposit that cannot be removed with a toothbrush.
Even if this rarely happens, the impact of damage to a baby tooth can be felt in an adult tooth. This is because the germs of adult teeth forming under the gums are delicate. They could be damaged if a baby tooth becomes infected or displaced.
Today, we find a wide range of aids for cleaning children’s teeth. You can buy electric toothbrushes, flossers on animal stands, coloured children’s toothbrushes, etc. These tools help you to improve your child’s oral hygiene. Ask our dental hygienists for advice.
My child is afraid of the dentist, what can I do?
For children who are phobic or anxious about going to the dentist, we have solutions! Our dentists offer treatment with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or hypnosis, both of which can be easily and safely applied to children. You can find more information here.
